How long did JMM train for?

because if i'm not mistaken he trained allot longer than 8 weeks he had plenty PLENTY of time to train and get into more than peek shape. So why all the excuses? everyone has been saying this and that about weight or how slow he was. Mayweather is that good, yes mayweather is an idiot for saying allot ALLOT of ****** things i agree. manny pacquiao is more of an ambassador of the sport how can you not like the guy? but it's not about who you like as a person it's about what they do in the square ring. that's it!

    Mayweather landed 290 of 493 (59 percent) blows to Marquez's 69 of 583 (12 percent). Mayweather's jab was also dominant as he connected with 185 of 316 (59 percent) to Marquez's 21 of 288 (7 percent).

    Respect it!

I'm not going to say who would win with pac and may tho i lean towards different fighters for different reasons. i would love to see a way where both sides see how good they actually are. A war to the limit!

if your punches are ineffective nothing matters. He paid for the win by not making weight and that is what the difference is 15 or so lbs. Marquez landed shots that Mayweather didnt see coming and, but his security was the weight disparity. It is crazy to say he is that good if he is why didnt he knock him out? Everything was on his side but he couldnt do that.

how an you knock a guy out who is trying to win the fight? look at wladimir klitschko vs Sultan Ibragimov. wlad is koing everyone why not him? It's because Sultan Ibragimov decided to survive the fight instead of trying to win it JMM was way behind and got hurt. he closed up his offense cause he was scared of getting KOed. look at the last 2 rounds 9 punches connect for JMM compared to 90 for MM roughly.

End of the day Marquez looked like a fat old man from the opening bell. None of his usual crisp work was on display.

Around a month and a half or 2...but that doesn't matter, if he had 2-3 fightss at JWW or WW, he wouldn't have been as slow and maybe been a bit more competitive, rather you like it or not, the weight didn't help Marquez make the fight more competitive, I mean when Winky fought BHop, he looked like **** too, because like Marquez it was a weight he wasn't used to.

so if a guy whop trains roughly for 3 months because of the delay in the bout with mayweathers rib injury. that's alooooooooooong as time to get adjusted to the weight. he had ample ample time to prepare and did, and he came with his very best and Mayweather shut the door on him because he IS that good. what do you think?

Skill and size had both to due with it.

Mayweather dwarfed him in the ring and I don't need HBO weights to tell me that.
