      Age may score a knockout.

        He could. More by accumulation.

Canelo isn’t the huge puncher everyone thinks he is, so it’s unlikely he’s going to do it in one shot, unless it’s some body shot that might hurt anyone in the right spot.

The truth is GGG is 40, we know how tough he is but you just can’t ignore the age and how much he’s been slowing down. You can see body shots are affecting that older body in the last few years. Hit him with enough and he could go down.

GGG has been one of my absolutely favourite fighters and I’d love to see him roll back the years one time because I think he beat Canelo twice and was a better fighter. But boxing isn’t a fairytale movie. Canelo has waited 4 years before the rematch for good reason. He knows a 40 year old is on his way out and there for the taking.

i still do have a weird feeling GGG will have some success here but it’s more hope than anything. It’s a higher probability that the fight will start and he looks every bit of the 40 years old because of the fighter in front of him

Yer old Golovking will still outwork and snap canelos head back with ram rod jabs but the judges l8ve to score any off Nelos eye-catching looping hooks or body work.

Ggg will probably beat him in punches in every round but lose on the score cards.

Everyone shouldn’t be selling GGG so short at the moment. Anyone could have a great moment in the ring.

Besides, if Golovkin is getting stopped he won’t be going down without a fight.

We’ve already seen the best of Canelo in the ring against GGG. However we have yet to see the best of GGG against Canelo.

He has been holding backing out of respect for Canelo’s ability. I’m confident that if he gives it his all he will knock Canelo out even at the age of 40.

I know that he is 40 years but the extra eight pounds will reinvigorate him just like it did Hopkins once he moved up from Middleweight. He is going to be a lot stronger with much more stamina and power at the larger weight class of a 168 lbs. You’ll see.

Yeah true, that’s something I’ve been saying before

To me, Golovkin hasn’t really look great on the scales since the Kell Brook fight. Look at the weigh in especially from the first Canelo fight, he first looked completely sunken. I mean he always looks in good shape and and makes weight because he’s ultra professional, so it’s easy for people to say he makes the weight okay, but if you know what you’re looking at, then I noticed a difference from around the Brook fight onwards that 160 was a struggle.

The 8lbs will certainly do him no harm anyway

i definitely think 8lbs will help him. He’s still 40 though and that can play a part
