I'm not payingj$85.99 plus tax (US, I live in Canada)

I will try my best like most of the rest of us to find it for free online either live or on Sunday morning.

And yup, I will sleep well at night for doing so.
The DAZN is getting out of hand man. They've jacked up the yearly subscription by $50 a year. When I first signed up, it was $99 a year. Now it's $149.00 a year. On top of that, they're doing PPV when they said they wouldn't ever. There's no woman hot enough to justify that money. I can take that money down to a strip club, if I wanted to.

Anyway, I get it. It's freaking expensive.

Now that I think about it I think they do if I remember right they had ads during the usyk-joshua fight

It's not average, it's actually the most expensive Non-Mayweather PPV.

Thanks for the heads up on the price hike. In Feb I still paid $100. I just canceled. I already buy ESPN+, buy 3 PPVs, and attend 2 live events per year. That is about $900 / yr on boxing. Now with the canceled sub money, I can buy 3 rounds of premium beer at the next live match. Cheers.

Crazy to pay PPV when you could watch it the next morning on Youtube for free.

I thought he clearly won the second fight.

Hmm I think they do understand, they set prices to maximise profit based on realistic audience

They fully understand that a boxing audience only has a limited amount of people willing to pay anything, it’s has a ceiling. Therefore if you cut price by a third, it’s very very unlikely you get more than 33% increase in buys. If you half it, it’s extremely unlikely you get a more than 50% increase in buys. Because to get that level of increase, you have to tap into a market not hugely interested in boxing and those probably wouldn’t be willing to even pay $45

its you that doesn’t understand economics in this instance

it’s unfortunate because it’s the customer that suffers, but you think these multibillion dollar organisations like showtime and fox don’t understand the market and how to set prices to benefit them?

It’s a trip to the grocery store for a couple of grass fed or bison steaks and a bottle of decent vino so ultimately not much to scoff at. But as most of the posters are saying, it’s the principle of the matter. A PPV on top of a subscription, a subscription that isn’t providing what it’s charging. Dazn usa can’t continue like this, and this fight will probably be a huge loss….no one at all is talking about it, no one
