Anyway, it could be a knuckle injury, which wouldn't surprise me because they are the most common injuries you get. Maybe he wants to let things heal. Who knows. Usyk also said he wants to spend time with his family. He's been away for a long time now.

Claiming injury and then playing basketball is a bad look.

Dude talked about pre-existing injuries - so chronic niggles that needed recovery time after the prolonged stress of camp rather than an acute injury - and also simply that he wanted to spend some time with his family after a year spent either readying for actual war or readying for mano a mano combat in the ring. Can't say I blame him.

Neither of these dudes has any history of avoiding fights and there's no reason to suggest either of em are now. Den just trolling here I reckon.

Usyk also has more belts then Tyson Fury, trying to dictate terms to him? Is not quite going to work out the same way it is like with Anthony Joshua etc.

Playing basketball is kind of risky if you are nursing injuries, IMO.

Im a military veteran and basketball is how I messed myself up the most! Sprained ankles, etc etc etc.

Unless he is just playing HORSE or something he really should be careful.
