At this level of boxing preparation is vital. Hopkins and De La Hoya, BOTH fought on the same night before their quick turn around fight 'It was all pre-planned' and they were both competing under the same conditions. So you don't really have a point mate.

Fury has sat back and is now opportunistically forcing Usyk or Joshua into a quick turn around fight 'None of this was pre-planned by the fighters, ONLY Tyson Fury'. You know this, everyone in boxing know this etc.

forcing joshua into a title fight for 30 million sounds ridiculous

There’s certain injuries that would prevent you from participating in certain high-level sports but won’t necessarily prevent you from playing some other sport.

Examples: A professional baseball pitcher with a broken nail on his throwing hands, needed to grip the ball to throw certain pitches consistently at a high speed, could be out for a few games while nursing that nail.

That same pitcher could still be caught playing celebrity ping pong, with a good little wrap on his nail.

A basketball player could have injured his elbow and is now out for multiple games. This wouldn’t prevent him from sprinting with his teammates.

We have zero context on Usyk’s injuries. It could be facial, it could be soreness, he could just be tired of long camps and wants to rest in general. If he’s playing basketball then clearly his legs are fine, his hands and arms are probably good enough. We also need context into the basketball game, how intense is it?

The guy also has a family and kids, the “injuries” might just be an excuse to spend time with them. And if it is, that’s a good lie. He shouldn’t put fans/boxing before his family after he just got two back to back good paydays. That would be called being greedy towards his family. Who btw are still in Ukraine while Ukraine is going through unrest due to Russia’s invasion. Maybe he wants to celebrate with, and support his family physically, in person. Maybe he doesn’t just want to send checks to his family while he trains and trains, fight after fight with no vacation.

          Probably rotator cuff issues.

Also yes, who gives a *** about his reasons. He said he’ll be ready have a fight by February. Fury is just trying to force guys into a turn around they aren’t comfortable with.

If Joshua takes the fight, it is for the glory.

Don't kid yourself that Joshua is some sort of desperate fighter.

Joshua's next fight will be a bigger fight than Fury's next fight 'If they were not to face each other, and providing Fury does not face Usyk'.

Joshua not making 20 million next nowhere else but fury buddy. He is no longer champion.

Can he go make decent money elsewhere next? Yes

Title shot with 20 plus million is the only option to even consider if you're AJ. You gonna pass up on that to go fight Joe blow for 10 million dollars? Not me
