As a former unified champion who lost a very close fight and a couple good rebound wins he's definitely deserving of a title shot. It was a shame that the rematch with Teo never happened and that Kambosos had no interest. Haney should definitely fight Lomachenko before he moves up.

I see the clowns are active. Loma is so far beyond haney it’s mind boggling. The most likely outcome is haney quitting on his stool around 8 or 9. Or just a wide UD. Haney doesn’t have the power to keep Loma off of him. He’s going to be eating flush combinations by round 5. There’s simply levels to this sport. Haney has one decent win on his trash resume, over a fighter who’s style is tailor made for him. Loma’s resume is 2nd best in the sport behind Canelo. Shakur is the only one with a shot over Loma, assuming they don’t all wait him out like they’ve been doing.

I've been saying all along how Arum has screwed over Loma's career by not inserting a rematch clause with Lopez. He made a bet on Lopez's future while saying that he doesn't believe in rematch clauses. Fury has one in all of his fights.
