Actually, it was President Zelenskyy that decided Lomachanko & Usyk could do more for the Ukraine people on a Global stage. Like Jessie Owens in the 36 Olympics, they bring world wide attention and hope to the Ukraine people and their cause.

Eddie never thought AJ would lose to a blob. He still put rematch clause in, because too many things can go wrong in the ring that will see you without belts. Eddie was smart. And Arum made a bet on a different racing horse with more longevity.

I've been saying all along how Arum has screwed over Loma's career by not inserting a rematch clause with Lopez. He made a bet on Lopez's future while saying that he doesn't believe in rematch clauses. Fury has one in all of his fights. Go figure, how Arum's beliefs change depending on who he wants to make the next big thing.
Say what you will about Eddie, but Eddie protects his champions at least with a rematch clause.
