You really think Jake would beat him? I honestly think Nate would walk through his shots. Nate is crazy and he’s taken bombs from much harder hitters. It would be atrocious striking but I can see him just walking up to Jake all nightComment

Only risk for Jake is if he gasses hard imo. But other than that hes in his prime, much faster and hits harder. Plus Nate is often content to sit back and showboat and do weird **** instead of forcing the issue, combine that with his lack of one shot KO power and it being 3 min rounds and I could absolutely see why Jake would want this fight.Comment

But as long as he's matched up with the right opponents they'll still be fan friendly fights. I mean no one seriously expects him to win any world titles but Rios-Alvarado 1 & 2 (Alvarado unfortunately didn't show up for the 3rd fight) were two of the most entertaining fights I've ever seen. Same reason I'll watch any Gabe Rosado or Derek Chisora fight.Comment

Good luck to this man. He’s an absolute warrior. This is a man who is braver than 80% of the boxers out there who won’t fight each other. He doesn’t back down from any fight win or lose. THAT is fighting! Not today’s twatter mouth wars.Comment

It’s a business- do you really think they are scared of fighting anyone? I’ll give you a hint - NO. In boxing you need to maneuver your career and sometimes that means not making the big, big fights. I don’t like this part of boxing, as most others don’t like it either. But you can’t just grab 15 random dudes and put them in a weight division and fight only the guys on the roster like ufc does. Same guys fight each other over and over and then you get Diaz, who doesn’t have much skill as he used to (guessing- I never seen him fight) and looses half his fights. And I don’t see Diaz as being braver than any other guy who steps in the ring.Comment

Oh they are scared…maybe not of the opponent but certainly of the almighty “0”. Here’s the thing…I can’t think of a boxer with a net worth of 8 million with 13 losses. That’s the respect differences the fan bases provide their fighters when they fight all competition. Instead, boxers today age fighters in order to beat them. Crawford/Spence still hasn’t been made. Mayweather/Pac should have been made 8 years prior to when it happened. Nate has fought all top competition within his division. Boxers today don’t do that whatsoever. They are more concerned with their “0” than they are facing all comers. While boxing may make more money than UFC (truly only the top guys and the top fights) UFC fighters fair far better when it comes to up and down the line income. There isn’t a boxer today with 13 losses at 8 million net worth.
