i still dont understand how mayorga was up with a 12% connect rate.

u dont be fooled throwing on punch at a time isnt fast.

I don't know, but the judges scored it that way.

Mayweather is real fast, it's one of his main attributes.

i have mayweather winning a wide ud!!!

i think mosley is still difficult to beat, he has stamina great chin and a thick coat also he still moves around the ring well and throws a lot of punches but is reflexes dont seem to be what they once was

so i can see mayweather pot shotting him and keep him moving!!!!!

But i've seen Mayweather get hit flush with big punches before (hell even Marquez got him with a big one whilst he was on the ropes) and it didn't phase him. His defence and reflexes just looks too good for the more winging power punches of Mosley.

The only way to beat Mayweather is by pummeling him on the ropes, nobody will outbox him in the center of the ring. I don't see why fighters don't realise this, Castillo laid out a good blueprint on how to go about beating Mayweather. But alas, nobody seems to be able to do it.

I'd probably give Mosley a better chance if he were a few years younger.
Corley had him bad hurt. Watch that fight again. Floyd can be hurt, by someone with quick hands who throws combinations and can **** a little. If Corley were any kind of finisher, Floyd might have a mark in his loss column. Mosley, I think, would land his right hand with regularity after the first round or two, and would keep pressuring Floyd non-stop, making him fight or run. Mosley by KO win.

Again, Floyd will never, ever sign with Mosley. Or anyone else where there's any chance of a loss, for that matter.

I'd love to be proven wrong here.

Mayweather by WIDDEE Ud. Winning 9 or 10 rounds. What's gonna happen is Mosley's speed will cause May some problems for probably a round or 2. May adjusts, Mosley starts hitting air and gets tagged for swinging wildly.

Floyd would run around the ring too much for Mosley to be able to KO him in my opinion. Only way i see that happening is if Mosley corners him somehow and just goes for broke.

Mosley's best chance is if he went straight out from the opening bell and just gave him everything he has trying to KO him early on. But you know he won't, you know he will try and box Mayweather for the first 6 rounds or so. Then he will need a knock out due to Floyd winning probably most of the rounds, and when it comes down to when he has to knock him out, he will be too tired and Mayweather wins a decision.

Big, flush shots from who? I bet Mosley is a bigger puncher than any of them and quite possibly better skilled.

Mosley does have a tendency to wing his right hand but he is also capable of being subtle with his shots, throwing 2, 3 or even 4 pitter pat shots to get his opponents to open up a little and then he'd throw a big shot at the end of the sequence.

I disagree, I don't think that's the only way to beat Mayweather. Of course you have to trap him on the ropes once in a while but you can't just go in there and 'pummel' him, it would leave you open to counter shots all night. Jesus Chavez tried to do it to him and he ate uppercuts all night. Plus Mayweather learned a lot about in fighting against Castillo, trust me, fighters have tried to do what Castillo did to him but they've failed because Mayweather has improved.

The way to beat Mayweather is make him uncomfortable, don't let him set the pace and don't let him get off first, apply educated pressure in spots and make him come to you in spots, you need a little bit of everything against Mayweather.

Mosley has the ability to do all of this, he's just as fast as Mayweather which would allow him to maybe get off first if he's able to, he knows how to apply pressure and cut off the ring to make Mayweather uncomfortable. He also knows how to push the pace, to make Mayweather fight at a higher volume that he wants to.

And Mosley has an underrated jab, I've been saying this for a while. The guy's jab is not the best but he has one and can use one. If Mosley is able to use his jab against Mayweather, it would help him out a lot.

Mosley also has the size to get to Mayweather, Mayweather won't be able to lean back and away from punches like he did against smaller, shorter men like Marquez and Hatton, and the size would allow Mosley to get inside and not got pushed around like Marquez and Hatton.

Mosley has also seemed to rededicate himself to his body attack, which was noticeably absent in a few of his fights prior to hooking up with Richardson.

Now all of this doesn't mean I think Mosley will win but this won't be a blowout or one sided as some people think it would be, Mosley isn't at his best anymore, I realize that but he has enough left in the tank to make this a fight, and a close one at that.

Body punching would definatley help Mosley against Floyd. True, the guys before were less powerful and smaller. I'd like to see him try, it's not like there's anyone else who can beat Floyd (apart from Pac) just in my opinion i don't think he can KO Mayweather, which means he has to impress the judges and win a decision, and against Mayweather, that is a tall order. I don't know if he can keep his concentration up for 12 rounds.
