Not a Brit myself but I suppose we need to respect the customs. Bummer though and I hope these fighters can peak at the right time again.

Oct 15th already has 4 fight cards scheduled and college football here in the states so that would be a terrible day to reschedule these fights. I don't see this card ever being put back together, Shields and Marshall might still fight in the UK this year but Mayer vs Baumgardner will probably end up on a smaller show in the US now if it happens at all.

So we have four fight cards tonight (ProBox, ShoBox, ESPN Canada, DAZN Canada) and one card Saturday night (DAZN Canada). May have to save some of tonight's boxing for tomorrow nights viewing.

Well the "published articles" are a load of shít and you see what you want to see son... doesn't make it reality.

Sadly when everything is viewed through a racial lens you're always going to see things in such a manner and that won't change.

The world's biggest welfare queen dies and people are supposed to mourn? 2022 and monarchies are still a thing?

The Atlantic slave trade was the only slavery conducted on the basis of racial classifications, unlike the other forms you’re referring to, and furthermore, the Atlantic chattel slavery distinguished itself from the others by rendering ****** and their descendants property of the owners, as underwritten by the same racial classifications, and again distinguished from the other slaving forms that generally were more akin to indentured servitude with more rights for subjects, and finite periods of service.

Also, there were millions of anti-slave trade campaigners, and tens of thousands of who did so on the grounds of a repudiation of race classifications and, hence, were not racist. So in short, loads of people weren’t racist back in the day

Ah, not the first time I’ve seen “people who have spent decades studying a subject, and the entirety of academia are wrong” on here.

Amazing that you insinuate bias on the above poster’s part when your own biases preclude your acceptance of historical fact.

I’m trying not to be a ****, here, and I sincerely apologise if I’m not doing very well, but it gets wearing having to have these discussions.

There are some choice wankers on here. If it didn’t matter it wouldn’t matter you fools. Most of whom are either, not British or just young and dumb.

fact is, you disrespectful nobodies are exactly that where as she was a somebody her whole life and likely the most recognisable person the world over.
when it happens, Marshall by big ko.

No. We spent a fortune ending the blockade of the Caribbean so that the French, who were at war with on and off in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, could go to take back Haiti and reintroduce slavery, and when they failed, neither us, the U.S or most other western nations legitimised them, economically sanctioned the country and left them to penury all as not to challenge prevalent racial hierarchies. I literally just did an assignment, and thus, a lot of reasoning on this subject.

What’s more, the UK taxpayer was paying descendants of slave owners till 2014! Amazing stuff.
