Feared puncher vs Loud Mouth. Marshall will be too busy trying to tread water and stay afloat if she don't let her hands go. Not beating Shields with all that posing and the fanboys who hate Shields aren't going to throw for her. They fight the same way in the pros as they did in the amateurs and I suspect the fight will play out the same way

Shields is going to put the beats on her, especially being in England with something to prove. It will probably be a unanimous decision, but she will make it look special.

Like Shields or not she has been wanting a top profile fight. She has been more than willing to fight anyone one of note and now she feels that this is her chance.

I expect her to come at her best and overwhelm Marshall. Don't know where they get that they will take her to the deep and get drowned because if anything it is the other way around.

Shields certainly has the skills. Does she have enough power to keep Marshall honest though? She certainly doesn't have KO power. Could be a lot like Usyk v Joshua, except that Shields is no Usyk level talent. I figure either she's going to be able to box and keep Marshall honest enough to go the distance and win on points, or Marshall catches her and knocks her out.

That KO ratio means a lot more with two minute rounds. Way harder to get TKOs with so little time to work, even against the way lighter opposition in the women's talent pool. While it can certainly be said that Marshall's quality of opposition hasn't been high, it's still worth looking at what happened to their shared opponents. She knocked out her last four opponents, and for all of them, that's the only KO loss. The two that Shields faced lost via decision to Shields.

Or to win any Olympic medals of any kind for that matter.

Amateur vs pro isn't the best comparison to make... but boxing ability and KO percentage in the pro ranks is important.
This will be a solid fight, and I expect both fighters to bring their best. At this point, I give Marshall the edge for solid
boxing skill and KO power... while Shields is also a solid boxer, but likely won't be able to keep Marshall off her.
