IF we think the Ammy fight they had tells us anything, and I can accept either, "yes it does" or "Nope, not a thing"... If we took those rounds and put it in the context of a professional prize fight, Shields would probably have the momentum in her favor, and had Marshall on the run. IMO that holds true even if Marshall did win the bout on cleaner shots and that is a bit of an "if" though I have no problem with the decision.

it seems to me that Marshall would have to be able to KO Shields. I don't think she can. I actually could see a similar fight to the Amateur bout but that would not necessarily be good for Marshall.

Shields is way too active imo. Marshall imo is a one gear fighter. She feasts on opponents that are not set up to take a big shot.

If Marshall even does well, and floors Shields in a losing effort I will gladly admit you were on to something Nash!

I think Peter Fury has added another element to Marshall's game, and also, made her fully believe in herself. On top of this, I feel that Shields may give up her speed advantage by going toe-to-toe as soon as Marshall lands something good. I love the fight, but I'm calling a Marshall win. The Fury clan has great training capacity, including Peter Fury... that is a good development for Marshall. Fury has incredible little habits trained in over the years...

Punchers in boxing already have to deal with 12 round championship bouts instead of 15. Those damn 2 minute rounds are really a cabosh for the ladies. They killed Nunnes against Taylor regarding power shots. I would think a little less confidently if these were 3 minute rounds. Punchers need time to work when they have their opponent in trouble, not fair to the ladies at all. But if Marshall gets Shields in trouble I will gladly eat humble pie because I don't think she can and she will have proved me wrong.

That's one of the most ignorant things I've seen you post, and I've seen many. For one Shields has never said that, Haney said that about Loma. Secondly, by suggesting that black fighters can say racist things without backlash just displays your blindness to the boxing world. Adrian Broner recieved major public backlash for calling himself the can man, even though he said Africans, Mexicans, and Puerto Ricans. Haney still gets quoted and lambasted for saying he would never lose to a white boy. You can take your displaced hate and direct it towards those that are guilty of making those atrocities, but Shields has done none of what you try to place on her. Yes, she talks ****y and confidently, but so do a lot of the top fighters. By trying to place that label on her, you are just trying to make others hate her as much as you do, which says something about you more than her.

Also, I'm from about two miles from where Spence is from and am a big fan. He's a good dude, can fight and is always respectful.

I was a Crawford fan until I heard he strong armed a body shop guy. Can't be a fan of someone who did that.
