It was actually Hearn's $12 million offer that had a 24 hour clock attached. To tease Hearn, Wilder's email copied & pasted the 24 hour language from Hearn's previous offer. You can't use that as an excuse for the fight not happening though because weeks later, Hearn admitted he was still discussing the fight with Wilder's team and that the $50 million was still being offered.

You're lying. He admitted that AFTER JOSHUA LOST he took less money to give Fury a rematch. It's not ducking to take a harder fight for less money. It would have been ducking to avoid Fury when their first fight ended in a draw.

There was no multipage contract covering all the details. It was a simple offer. An offer sent right after Joshua said he'd fight Wilder for 50 million. How convenient. Your first lie.

Fighter sending an email with a simple offer is professional? Complete and utter nonsense.

No Hearn offer he sent ever sent Wilder had any time cap. Another lie. It was only Wilder's side who came up with it. Plus they wouldn't meet with Hearn to discuss this until he'd accepted Wilder's offer lol.

Nope. Another lie. They proposed him the deal two months before he lost to Ruiz.

The rest is history. As is Wilder and his non-existent legacy.

I don’t mind this fight while Usyk heals/rests.

No, you're lying. It was widely reported at the time that Wilder's email included a 3-4 page document outlining all of the major deal points. Whether you want to call it a contract, deal memo, term sheet, that's a matter of opinion. But the email included all of the major deal points you would expect to be covered in a legitimate offer.

        Nope, once again you're lying.

EDDIE HEARN has bizarrely compared Anthony Joshua to Beyonce as negotiations with Deontay Wilder continue to be drawn out.

"Hearn offered Wilder a £12.5million flat-out fee last week but he claims to have not had a response.

A 10-day deadline was sent with offer, which is due to expire today."

So fury wants Josh coming off of two back to back losses against usyk. Remind me again why he's in such a rush to fight, and can't simply wait until February for the usyk fight?

Noises from both negotiating camps sounds progressive, but until it’s signed and confirmed then I’m not getting excited for this fight. If it does get made then AJ is live contender and odds wise you could probably compare it to the purse split.

AJ must take this fight. If he does not take this fight, it means he does not have the confidence anyway to beat Fury.

You said the offer had a 24 hour deadline. Got called out for it. Then post a link saying it was 10 days. You were the one lying.

He isn’t at the lowest. Did you watch him fight? Did he go out there and do an Adrien Broner and lay an egg? Or did he give everything he had and come up short against a truly great fighter in usyk.

I’d rather fury face a AJ that’s fighting top competition win or lose rather than knocking out old guy after another and no that’s not a dig At Joshua for any past oops.

point is, I support West Ham United. They’ve lost basically every week. Am I gonna stop watching and supporting them? NOPE.

Boxing is pretty much the only sport where a guy can’t get back out and put a performance correct the next night.

If you wanna act like Joshua is a terrible opponent considering the other options available to fury then you go ahead.

Don’t pay to watch it , IF IT happens. No skin off my nose bud. You’re one PPV buy isn’t going to affect the success of this event so good luck to you sir.

I agree with the Fulton - MJ fight needs to happen. Very very good fight to be made.

But? Lets go back in boxing's history. If this offer was thrown at a fighter during the 1970's, 1960s and maybe even the 80's.

Fighters would just have to take the opportunity.

Joshua does not need this opportunity business wise. Joshua is a not desperate fighter 'Whoever he fights next is a big fight'.

But, this is a big opportunity for Glory. That is the debate here for Team Match Room and Joshua.

Not only is it a quick turn around, after a tough fight. He facing another unbeaten fighter, back to back Super Elite fights.

If Joshua takes this fight under those circumstances automatically he deserves credit.

And he will just have to do his best, put in a good effort 'Leave it all in the ring'.

It is quite a situation which has developed, and that is partly due to Fury's tactics 'And his political vision'.
                      Excellent post and good read.
