But even this version of JMM was good enough to remain competitive and go 12 w/ the alleged p4p1 guy in the world. On top of giving up every possible advantage.

JMM also managed to land some very nice punches on Floyd.
I actually thought that Marquez was stunned with the knockdown and was noticeably buzzed a few other times during the fight. To me, Mayweather pulled his punches out of pity, because there were times where it looked like Marquez was going but Floyd IMO respected him too much to go all the way for the knockout. I respect Marquez for even taking this fight, because he got a beating. What makes be feel better about it is that he got seriously paid a lot of money, and he deserves it.

then it doesn't help that Marquez couldn't even effectively use 148 lbs.

how can any fan, even a Mayweather fan, feel good about this win? I'm sure Klitschko could beat Bernard Hopkins (p4p 3 or 4) does that mean he's the top dog?

I just feel bad for JMM
I wonder how many rounds Floyd could take off Hopkins at 60' or Calzaghe at 68'.

      Thats basically what this was.

I didnt give him a round, Mexico still has some other good boxers though hopefully they have better luck in the future.

Look at JMM's face after the fight, he looked fine.

I gave 4 rounds to JMM.

How did you manage to do that? He landed 69 punches in th whole fight, half of them was when Floyd decided to let him punch him to laugh at him.

I give JMM a lot of credit , is true he gave up all advantages and accepting to fight mayweathe and unbeaten fighter , we know he aint crowd pleasing and we all have our **** to say bout mayweather , but he has never been dominated. And marquez went in there taking his chances , very confident , which u have to be for every fight , And i give him my respect for that , he stepped up. Like a man took the challenge , cuz we all know an unbeaten fighter like mayweather is a challenge. But plain and simple , it wasnt competitive. I was going for marquez. I want mayweather to get whooped. But i had my doubts since the begining . Marquez was giving up to much. And it showed. Credit to him for fighting Anybody at that weight. Its a complete challenge to take a fight like that , going up in weight at once to face mayweather , But he got owned man , accept it. Like mayweather said , he is a great little man , he did what he could. I dont believe he could do better against mayweather. like he said. And some people believe marquez can beat cotto. Please , if he got knocked down with a Floyd's left hook , can u imagine a 2 hook combo from cotto ,first to the body and then crosses ur face with that **** , no way man. NO ****ING WAY , SORRY!!!!

Lol @ correlating how a fighter looks after a fight to winning rounds.

I like JMM, but that fight was not competitive AT ALL. To be competitive you actually have to win rounds, it's a stretch to say he won more than one round.
