AJ doesn't have to accept anything if it doesn't reflect his commercial value and his agenda. AJ is still the biggest draw, belt or no belt. Fury can go ahead and fight his preferred Chisora and see how much he's going make.Comment

I know AJ is coming off two losses, but AJ didn't take much physical damage in the Usyk fight. He was just outboxed and tired at the end.
I'd rather Fury fought Usyk - we need a blooming Undisputed champion!
But it is the second best fight in the division if he isn't going to do it... Just don't really understand why he wouldn't...Comment

This is what I would do if I was Fury. Smash Joshua in December then smash usick May or June ?Usick isn't the stay real busy type like Josgua usually is.Comment

It is quite good preparation. In terms of high level boxing, Joshua of late has had better preparation than Fury.
Two back to back, competitive fights with Usyk 'Who skill for skill is pound for pound one of the best fighters in the world'.
Wilder is a dangerous fighter, and he does have a good Jab. But apart from that he did not push Fury skill for skill 'Neither did Whyte'.
The last high level technical fighter Tyson Fury faced was Wladimir Kiltschko.
I think Tyson Fury in general just wants to fight, I honestly do not think he has planned any of this. It just seems like a burst if eagerness and excitement from Fury.
The offer has been put out there now, and the public are aware of it.
Tyson Fury is the favorite, but? It is hard to judge how each fighters style will look against one another once they are in the ring.
Certain things like speed and endurance, THESE are the two attributes which are overrated when people talk about Tyson Fury. Is he really that much faster than Joshua? And is his endurance really elite? I have of late mentioned numerous times, that Joshua work rate and out put is comparable to Tyson Fury's if not better in his biggest fights 'His work rate is actually better, if you compare the data'.
And Joshua's has admitted that his endurance is not his strong point. So people need to check themselves, when they continually try to claim that Fury has elite level endurance.
Out of both Fury and Joshua 'Joshua has performed the greater feats of endurance'.
1: Getting up off the deck vs Kiltschko, to then endure and survive heavy bombardment 'Fighting on to then knock Kiltschko out for the win'.
2: Joshua's two fights vs Usyk, for me were solid feats of endurance. I have checked the statistics, and Usyk is assaulting Joshua with a impressive work rate 'And the fact of the matter is, Joshua was hanging with the pace, and withstood it for the most part of the two fights'.
Tyson Fury's one great feat of endurance was vs Deontay Wilder in their first fight. Fury survived Wilder's power, to then fight on for 1-2 minutes of the last round.
I don't rate this feat of endurance as high as Joshua's survival vs Kiltschko. Kiltschko decked Joshua early in the fight, and even after Joshua got up off the deck 'He was subjected to more bombardment' Joshua still had to fight on many more rounds to get the win.
Note: The reason why I have brought all these points up? Is not to argue Joshua's case for the win. I have brought them up, because this fight may be totally different to what people expect.

I actually feel the Joshua fight would be a difficult few rounds for Fury and he may even hit the deck as he has very little respect for him .Until Fury takes over mid rounds and does a real job on him before the stoppage....Usyk would be easier as I think Tyson could keep him long and lean on when the little man did get in. Fury was always going to fight Joshua , what ever losses he'd got ,it could just be a little earlier now.Three losses on the bounce then for Joshua but Hearn could then put him in with Chisroia with nearly twenty losses between them and put it on PPV in his back garden.Comment

Fury is playing games and trying to humiliate AJ. No way he should be fighting in November with that kind of opponent with all that's at stake. But now he can't say no either. Well played by Fury, I don't trust him for a second that he actually wants to fight AJ. Unless, of course, Fury would do anything not to fight Usyk and wants to age him.Last edited by alexjust; 09-06-2022, 08:25 PM.Comment
