Those are great options for Joshua, become lineal king in 2022 or rebuild as planned. I’d say take the fight, nothing to lose!

Fury is just trying to make it sound like he wants big fights while not fighting. I mean I thought he was "definitely retired for good".

Worth remembering Fury turned AJ down for a 60/40 split a couple of years ago when Fury had no belts. Also I'm sure Wilder gave Fury a great split for their fight, when Fury had done nothing for a few years and had no belts,

Disliking Fury is one thing but to keep on harping the same malarkey is a whole other issue.
Fury did make the fight with AJ and contracts were actually signed until Wilder took him to court.

Fury has called out Usyk and Usyk has responded by saying he will fight next year. How is that Fury’s fault?
The 2nd best option is still AJ, despite coming off a loss. Fury is the undefeated lineal champ, how is 60/40 not fair?

You are perhaps the only person on the planet that believed “Fury retired for good.”

Very good offer. If I was Joshua I would've accept it in a heartbeat.

I wanna see Usyk vs. Fury first though.

It’s actually more about being that guy who “Hammered the last nail into his coffin”.

Either way, I’m actually on board with it happening. If Joshua takes it and loses the fight I wont knock him.

He might take it and be more free than ever by being completely written off. Before the Usyk rematch he was underdog but there was still a large amount of people that backed him to win still.

This time he is completely written off and almost resigned to the scrap heap by some fans statements since the fight.

Maybe that works in his favour and he can give it everything having nothing whatsoever to lose.

If it happens, As long as Both of them leave the ring healthy and make it home to their children, that’s all I really ask for mainly!

Good point, but with some important notes =--->

The rematch bout between Joshua and Ruiz in the country in 2019 had a reported 1.2 million PPV buys, earning the broadcaster $35.65 million. In order to break even with its reported $30.22-million spend, Sky will have to generate at least 927,563 PPV buys.
But at the end of the day AJ just lost 2 times and has 3 losses on his record. With his post ring antics, who knows how many fans have jumped ship.

He has no belts (championship fights bring in more money) and Fury is undefeated. Without Fury who is AJ going to fight to generate big ppvb's? We don't know the metrics from the seond Usyk fight either.

But I do agree, AJ does sell much more ppv's*.

60/40 is very fair! I wish Spence vs. Crawford could move as fast as this!

As enticing as it is, there is too much money invested in Joshua to take a 3rd loss in a row. He really needs to rebuild if his handlers want to make their money back. I'm guessing it's not AJ's call to accept the fight.

Edward will hate this as he won't have jack shyte to do with the event , as he wrongly called it 'the biggest fight in boxing history'. Nose pressed up against the window yet again....a peeping Tom!
