I'm open to evidence if there is any. Everything I've ever seen about that alleged fight is a reference directly from Boxrec, and as accurate as they are they also got wrong info on the site as well.

Just because he didn't go by Da Silva doesn't mean he isn't Da Silva that's common in Portuguese it just means from/of. There's no video of him fighting Teixeira but there is footage of him fighting Cesar De Jesus the next opponent on his boxrec it's his boxing record why would they just make it up?

Paul team released the Rahman sparring footage, somehow thinking it made Paul look good I guess. Rahman was telling the truth that he was only allowed to throw one hand, he was just using hard jabs and almost zero right hands and when he did it was as a lazy jab.

You realize if they offered him to take a dive it would be that or no fight at all. Not announce the fight and then ask him if he wants to dive. There goes your big win catapulting his career at 47 years old theory.
