    Ortiz's chin.

How bad do you think Ortiz's chin is? He's been knocked down 5 times in his last 2 fights.

His punch resistance has gone because of wilder. Which makes me think what is furys punch resistance like now, Whyte never tested it

His chin is good. That's why he is able to keep getting up.

It's his 43 year old rubber legs that are gone.

        He’s been dropped 4 times.

Did he ever even get punched on the chin?

Both Ruiz KD’s were on the back of the ear/side of the head, clubbing shots too.

Then you have the “knockdown” where no punch was actually landed on Ortiz body or head.

You have Martin’s KD way behind the ear of Ortiz, legal punch, but once again no chin/jaw involved there.

I will give you 1 KD on the chin and that was the Martin jab that Ortiz ran into.

Overall, Ortiz’s chin is a 8/10. Because although he’s been dropped 4 times in the last 2 fights, watching the actual fights and not just counting the KD’s, Ortiz can take a punch to the chin. As Lennox Lewis said “anyone can go down from punches behind the ear like that.”

I think Wilder has an amazing chin, but that didn’t matter vs Fury where the punches were on the side of the head and back of the ear, and even borderline back of the head.

Lastly, getting dropped on its own doesn’t mean you have a bad chin. For example, JMM opponents were usually almost guaranteed to score a KD. They didn’t really mean anything because we knew JMM would get back up from every one of them and outbox his opponent.

Ortiz was dropped by Ruiz and still outboxed him and won more rounds. Fight could have easily been scored 8-4 for Ortiz.

His ability to recover is otherworldly because these aren’t chin shots. He’s getting hit hard on the temple and behind the ear. These aren’t punches you get dropped by multiple times early in a fight and get back up to finish 12 rounds while also outboxing your opponent.

Ortiz has a hard head, and his chin is even better. He gets hit right on the button on his chin and might just lean back a bit and shake it off.

When people say chin you schmuck it's a facetious reference to punch resistance. Can you like please make a minimum effort?

Ortiz has no sea legs and can't take a punch. He's 53 years-old for cryin out loud.

The only reason Ortiz won any rounds is because Ruiz is too fat and was gassed. He could have easily been stopped in 3-4 rounds. Put him in there with Jared Anderson and it's TKO1 1:30.

He reacts badly when hit. His chin isnt good, but his boxing ability to hide how bad his chin is is good.

Who did Ortiz ever beat to make anyone think he had a great chin to begin with?

His legs are gone. He’s 43 and Cuban, which means he’s probably 53
