This information is all coming from a reporter at La Press in Canada.
And now every other paper is feeding off that story. There is NO OFFICIAL statement from any coroner or Dr. Michael Badden. This information claims to have been leaked from a "source". Complete bull****- All I can say is wait for Dr. Badden to hold a national press conferece. Unfortunatley, it is taking longer than hoped for thanks to the Brazilian goverment taking time sending crime scene reports that are blank....what a joke.

However, I think they should look as deep as possible. not go so far as to start getting innocents in trouble, but just to make sure there is absolutely no foul play here.

according to the reports there are traces of sedatives in his body. If he was so drugged up that normally the person would be out cold, then he couldnt have been awake to hang himself, could he?

this whole injury in the back of the head thing is what keeps confusing me. these guys cant tell the difference between a stab wound by a kitchen knife and thrown rocks?

and Im no medical expert, but is there any way of telling if the 'rock' injury in the back of his head were thrown or used as a club? I mean...if someone just smacked him in the right spot in the back of the head with a rock, wouldnt it look similiar to an injury caused by a thrown rock?

speaking of which, if people were throwing rocks at him, are there any other thrown rock injuries on his body? light bruises or anything? I have a hard time believing theres a pro rock sniper that can land exactly to the head.

maybe its just us paranoid boxing fans...but I dont care. I want every question to be answered before they put down the case. Its worth the effort if someone really did kill Gatti, even if it is a longshot.
Excellent post, and precisely the point. The drugs, the inconsistencies between initial and later reports, the will change; it points to a story which has not been entirely told.

      People are repeatedly missing this.

The Canadian coroner has not yet ruled that it was a suicide so people need to stop saying they have.

This is also something I'm concerned about as well. It's known the combo of sedatives and alcohol can even be fatal. So how does a person who has likely lost control of a lot of his faculties getting piss drunk that night manage to hang himself with the added effect from a sedative on top of it? How could the man even see straight?

Neither was Arguello. You have no idea what people with mental health problems/drug use (in the case of Arguello it was the former) can end up doing. Calling a person that took that unfortunate step a quitter is ignorant. "cada cabeza es su mundo" or every head is its own world. We have no idea what was going on and we should not judge. Its a tragedy and that's that.

If he took something that causes drowsiness and sold in Brazil, then it sounds to me what happened possibly is that someone gave him those things, Ive never had a problem going to sleep after I was drunk. Over the years I watched so much Court TV, so many shows, the first clue they usually use as evidence is when there has been a will change and there was in this case. They knew once outside of the US that they would have a good chance of getting away with this.

Can anyone actually believe this story? Because it doesn't take rocket science to figure out there was some form of cover up.

Let me get this straight? She came down at 6am to get a bottle & walked over him laying face down on the concrete floor & told the police & the press she thought he "drunkenly" slept? Who sleeps face down on a concrete floor- drunk or not. I am a woman, & I think I might have been just a little concerned for my husbands well being at that point, mad at him or not. And, am I incorrect in wondering how she missed the purse strap or the blood on the floor as well?
I don't know what kind of purses this woman had but my purse straps wouldn't hold a man up for 60 seconds. And by the looks of that one, i cast doubt on that whole theory.

If he was trying to commit suicide then why wouldn't he just take an overdose of this brazilian sleeping aid if it was sold over the counter?
And your telling me that almost 3wks. later after the 1st autopsy after all that they do to you- he still had this mystery drug in his system? That sounds like he had more than a small amount if it was still present- so how was he even functioning?

It amazes me that people aren't furious that Brazil is actually getting away with covering all this stuff up. I realize it'a third world country but come on how ridiculous is it that the story changes every day with these people? You don't put someone in jail for 3wks. from the beggining (while your investigating) unless your pretty sure they did it.

And I am going to say this for the record -One More tIme- The statement that was made by La Presse Of Canada is NOT an OFFICIAL statement by the cororner in Montreal or Dr. Badden. It is a statment made by an unknown source and pure bull**** & speculation. unfortunatley, every other paper is now copying that statement & saying that they heard this information.

I'm just asking- For one minute here does anything here sound right to you?
Arturo was my friend & he will be missed dearly & had he died by his own hand he wouldn't be missed any less. But He Didn't- wait for the facts - they will be released, being this patient sucks especially for his family.
You will get the truth & this is NOT it.

There's a lot to be said about mental illness and depression as they relate to suicide, I agree with you there. But not every suicide is the direct result of mental illness.

Also, I wasn't making a judgment on anyone who has "taken that unfortunate step," as you put it. Suicide, by definition, is the ultimate form of quitting. Any negative connotation applied to this is someone else's judgment, not mine.

Speaking of Arguello, last time I checked there were su****ions of foul play in his alleged suicide as well.
