either way, whether she killed him or not. Arturo did not kill himself I know that for sure...
a lot of people, guilty or not, would be happy to get out of prison. even if a loved one had died.

it's looking more like a suicide than anything else, which is what i thought from the beginning. he made a living getting punched in the head and he was apparently a heavy drinker, so it's not that hard to believe he would do something like that.

But i must also respect the professionalism of two different medical examiners. One of them in his home country at the family's choosing.
The second autopsy has found that he was indeed hanged, not strangled. It also found that there was a sedative in his system, and we already know he ingested enough alcohol to get drunk. Sedatives + Alcohol = knockout.

It isn't hard to conclude there is a possibility that Gatti was drugged and hanged to make it look like a sucide. Gatti leaves behind a $30 million fortune, after all.

The part I still don't get are the stab wounds to the back of Gatti's head. Forensics should tell if they were self inflicted, but I haven't read about that anywhere.

        A professional job

I think that six figure request a day before Arturo's death was to pay off the goons she had do it. She will inherit everything, so they still get paid in the end, no biggie on that.

I don't know why the family went for the strangulation angle though. I'd want the medical specialists involved to weigh in on the possibility that he could've been hanged by others while incapacitated or close to it.

I fully agree with the top analysis, and I am going to reserve any judgment until the results of the toxicology analyses are made public.

As for the bold portion, the initial reports were that it was suspected that Gatti had been stabbed in the back of the head with a kitchen knife, which was found on the scene near his body.

Later reports stated that he had been pelted in the back of the head with rocks by bystanders as he was physically abusing his wife in public.

That's essentially what I've seen reported.

The $450,000 request from Amanda Rodrigues hasn't been proved. The Gattis, Pat Lynch have made this claim but haven't come up with any proof.
(even after illegally hacking into her Gmail account).

Tell me they went to the ISP for that. All she would have to do is delete any outbound mail msgs on her end.

He got drunk got into a fight with his wife, the locals joined in because he hit a woman. He went home took some drugs and hung himself. Why is that so hard to believe?

                    Yeah that's normal...

I don't recall men hanging themselves after an argument...

People kill themselves all the time, and the family and friends don't know why they did it.
