But not near as many as he did fight, no fighter can fight everyone its just impossible, and with every single champion across all time there will be people that cry about who they didnt fight during their time, its the only way out for a hater is to play the what if card because the reality card trumps them every time.

Floyd was the best of his era and that's a great achievement in any era by any sportsman. The yeah buts will never take away what he did.

History will remember PAC losing to Floyd and 7 other fighters.
History will also remember PAC getting destroyed by Marquez with one single punch.
History will also remember the catchweight fights PAC had in fact the 154 Ibs title was fought at 150Ibs and against a guy who had just been KO’d a year earlier by Mosley.

May should have went straight after Margarito after he destroyed Cotto, to make a point of who is the best. Or instead face Lara/GGG/ Williams, who were all available opponents during 2009-2015 (except for Williams who had an unfortunate accident).

These are the type of fights that make a fighter great. That's why Usyk is above Mayweather. He has a Gold Medal, Unified Cruiser, Moved up and beat the #2 guy and is about the unify with the #1 in the OPEN WEIGHT category called Heavyweight Boxing.

Your history of boxing does not align with facts. So, let’s dissect what you just wrote:
Mosley was coming off the biggest win of his career when he KO’d Margarito who was viewed as the “most avoided fighter” then.
May-Mosley happened immediately and it was a one-sided beating except for two punches in Round 2 that Mosley landed. That’s all casuals remember.

But to address your point about Mosley being a shadow of his old self. When should Floyd have fought Mosley? Keep in mind, Floyd did not move up to 140 until 2005. Also, Floyd offered Mosley a fight in 2006 after Mosley had beaten Vargas. Mosley turned it down saying he had to fix his teeth. You can Google this fact.

Margarito did not destroy Cotto. He cheated, got caught and should have been banned for life. Also, Bob Arum and Floyd weren’t going to work together. That problem is also why Crawford-Spence hasn’t happened the last 5 years.

Williams-Floyd was floated around but Williams lost to Carlos Quintana and then the accident happened. As for Lara and GGG, you seem to ignore the fact that Floyd started his career at 130Ibs while GGG was a natural 160Ibs fighter. Lara was also a natural 154Ibs fighter.

Why couldn’t those two guys go up to 168 or 175 to fight Calzaghe or Andre Ward? Were they ducking? Or were they afraid to challenge themselves?

You know, even if you are correct about Floyd, how do you say Usyk is above Floyd? Usyk did unify the cruiserweight but let’s be real, that’s a weak division and beating AJ at HW is good but not a legacy defining fight. If he beats Fury, then a case can be made for him but he will not beat Fury.

All that said, Usyk’s body of work does not remotely come close to Floyd’s. Usyk would have to beat Fury then defend the belts at least 5 times before he can even be compared to even Wladimir.

    it's all about styles

he would have beaten Duran.... lost to Hearns... and gone life-n-death with Leonard

but I would never pick against Leonard
