Then you should've accepted that offer to have him face Ryan you pos. Cruz kinda fell in thier lap, somewhat marketable and now they're going to try and milk that cow to the very last drop. Decent fighter, crude who likes to throw that no look GARSH like Danny. El Rayo and Frank Martin light that dude up.

After the Tank fight they should have matched him with top 10 opposition but just like Tank they not going to do that .

Real Mexicans probably feel the same way about Mexican Americans trying to dictate who the face of Mexican boxing is/will be.

He is pretty entertaining with the peekaboo style and is marketable, but I don't think that is going to happen if PBC treats him like Gervonta Davis.

Isaac Cruz has one of the best odds considering:

-Navarrete hit his Plateau with his style, he will get good wins, but I doubt he will have longevity to continue after his thirties.
-Valdez is already too old to fight enough fighters to be declared one of the best, even if he beat Hector Garcia and Rakhimov.
-Zurdo is not that entertaining to watch even if he is a light heavyweight and lacks personality, his resume is lackluster.
-Munguia five years ago was promised as the next top fighter however his opposition has been lacking and has underperformed so far.
-Berchelt was highly advertised in his fight against Valdez, but he sadly seems too worn down to compete at the elite level.
-Aguilar was not good enough to beat a former Olympian in Delgado once he stepped up.
-Zepeda struggled immensely with an over the hill Alvarado and unknown fighter.
-Estrada is going in the decline, he will likely no longer be allegeable in P4P rankings.
-Cuadras is in the decline, will likely not be able to get a belt.
              -Vargas is highly unactive.
-Leo Santa Cruz is not really seen as a top fighter at the moment.
-Lopez pulled multiple upsets and will likely keep be doing so in the future, however it is kind of late to accumulate too many good wins.
-Martinez is very entertaining with his savage fighting style also being a switch-hitter, but the guy gets constantly injured.
              -Nery has a negative reputation.
-Velasquez had too many missed opportunities and hasn't fought anyone of note.
-Elwin Soto is currently in a losing streak.
-Lara while able to hit like a mule, is not technically skilled is prone in losing in many big fights. Hope he proves me wrong though.

Unless new rising contenders appear in the next years, I don't think anyone will replace Canelo as of now.

Mexican Americans in general are never seen as the face of boxing for Mexico not matter how good they are, you never see Ortiz Jr, Bam or David Benavidez in the discussion.

I don’t know if he is or isn’t but his style is super fan friendly. Best of all, he seems willing to fight anyone at any time
