This should of never been a PPV fight. If Ruiz’s was facing Wilder, Fury or AJ I get the PPV. To watch him fight an old man is ******.

He contains no self control or discipline. All that talk about “getting in shape” was damage control. He continued to stuff his face with burgers while upping his training activity. In the two years since his loss to AJ he could have EASILY shed 50 pounds. At his height and frame he shouldn’t be more than what you state. I don’t care how “conditioned” he may think he is. He still carries far too much fat which isn’t good for the heart, organs or arteries. Technically he is obese.Comment

Yeah his ankle went completey in that fight and the guy had a long amatuer career and was 32 in that fight back then probaly wasn't feeling boxing anymore after that injury and having to rebuild to a title shotComment

He could easily shed 50 pounds but he'd drop a stack of muscle in the process.

He's stuck with this now. To get even relatively lean he couldn't function as a boxer.Comment

He definitely could! If he were disciplined he could easily be a healthy cruiser/lhw. With his body proportions and frame at a 6 foot height being HW allows him to lack all self control and dietary discipline and eat as much as he pleases.Comment

He's never dropping to Cruiser. He'd be a weird looking, weak cruiser. That big barrel chest with no muscle on it.
He just has to make what he can of his Heavyweight body now.

I can buy this it’s just a shame he doesn’t take his conditioning seriously. He did somewhat better in the muscle end for this fight however he still weighs more than he did for his last fight yet about the same for his first AJ fight. His weight issues are a yo yoComment
