I thought this too, but he is facing a two time loser who is probably on gear himself.

When Ruiz was a prospect and looked like a dumpy clone of Our Gang actor the late Joe Cobb I knew he was a potential contender when he walked through Tor Hammer after Hammer made his head bounce around like a pineda. He had tons of stamina and was legitimately fat with man boobs and a belly. It would be weird to see him look fitter and have no stamina and see him ko'd by Ortiz after watching his various prospect wins and the Joshua comeback win.

      Your absolutely right
Any fitter that is not Ruiz way
I do find he looks best I’ve seen him from the last two fights
You can tell he didn’t drain himself to make that weight from his face

I don't know if old man can take those body shots.

Early rounds could be competitive, but once Luis starts breathing heavy he's in trouble.

The real king Kong was bought down by America's best war planes on empire state. This king Kong is going down by Mexican, no planes needed, just leather glove on whiskers

It’s an absolutely awful card for $75. And I honestly don’t care about $75 dollars. It’s the principle.

Especially when Ruiz’s last fight was a whack decision win over Arreola.
Argi Cortes had a 43% KO ratio and he gave El Gallo hell last night.

El Rayo's opponent has 13 KOs in 14 fights and should be an improvement over old Jezreel Corrales. Abner Mares hasn't fought in 4 years so there's some intrigue there to see what he has left.

Is it worth $75? Naw. $39.99 would have been just right.

Not in good shape by any standards. Absolute shameful shape for anyone let alone a supposed top athlete in one of if not the most cardio heavy sport there is.

I don't even understand how its possible for someone who lives in a gym to look like that.
