This fights not happening. Tank is a PPV fighter and Mares is not a sellable opponent. Mayweather Promotions isn’t trying to lose money. Zero percent chance of that fight happening I don’t care how great Mares looks.

Don't be so sure. Even at this stage of his career Mares is more marketable than every single one of Tanks past ppv partners except for maybe Leo. Isaac Cruz was a last minute replacement and the fight didn’t sell much. Just because Mares had a name once doesn’t make him sellable now. And if my memory serves me correctly there wasn’t much praise when they almost fought then.
