Why doesn't Eddy Reynoso scout any young talent from Mexico?

The guy has been trainer of the year since 2018 multiple times in a row, and since he Is going to deprive them of financial opportunities.

Why doesn't he try to recruit young fighters from the ground up. However, seeing how JCC trains at CDMX in actuality and Joselito Velasquez a superbly skilled flyweight that won two golden medals at the Pan American Games has not faced anyone of note at 28 years old.

I am questioning if he is actually doing a good job at promoting his fighters that lack a big following.

Also looking back to Luis Nery, how the heck did he lost to Figueroa, this is not to insult him but he was a 23 year old fighter with his biggest fight being a draw against Julio Ceja while Nery was a veteran trained by an "elite" trainer instead of his father unlike Figueroa.

Just think how bizarre that is if you erase the fact that this was before Figueroa fought any proven fighters at a very young age.

Instead, Valdez just opened his own gym three weeks ago in Sonora after getting married recently. One the fighters at OV Boxing is going to fight Luis Nery next month even if it is a tune up for him, so they already seem to be already doing a better job whether the fighter wins or loses.

So are many other trainers though, and they are doing a much better job such as Bomac recruiting the likes of Shakur and Crawford.

Chepo Reynoso is the one running the gym in Guadalajara.
I was just there a month ago.
He has good fighters , prospects and amateurs.

From what I read Chepo Reynoso helped to train Mantequilla Nopales and Ruben Olivares, isn't that right?

Under the tutelage of said highly prestigious trainers like Ignacio Silva, Julian Magdaleno and Jesus Rivero.

Chepo is the one who trained Canelo and the fact that he was the one who trained Larios who gave a very difficult fight to Pacquiao, a trilogy against Israel Vasquez and beating Wayne McCullough x2 is quite impressive.

Does he have any rising prospects at the moment to keep an eye on?

Fatnoso only trains world class fighters. He is very selective. Numerous young talents are in Canelo Promotions with different trainers.

Reynoso has made too much money to make him care about working anymore than he has to. It's as simple as that. Canelo brings him more money than anyone else, so he puts pretty much all his time on Canelo. Plus, I've heard rumors that he's super cheap on paying for training, such as sparring partners. He tries to pay as little as possible for sparring partners, which is one of the reasons why Canelo looked like **** against Bivol. I heard this from someone who's worked with Reynoso in the past. Said the guy is a cheap skate and doesn't get the right sparring partners.

Then you look at the guys who left his gym, and it all makes sense.

Cause he's overrated as fvkc. Fortunate to have an average fighter like carnelo who people think is great and have gift decisions as well as providing his fighters with ped's.

Yeah Ryan and Nery both left saying Reynoso is never there. Makes sense now when you see all the videos of Canelo helping the boxers at the gym.
