I think Mosley would be easy work for Mayweather too. He would get the ****e boxed out of him. imo.

Shane doesn't have the legs anymore. Then Shane can't adapt either, heh.

but mosley destroyed margo who made cotto quit.

            matchups , bud.

people sometimes look at resumes too much and not enough on skill.

sometimes too much emphasis on skill and not on the matchups.

every fight has to be looked at differently when guessing what will happen.

i picked cotto over mosley last time they fought however now i pick mosley over cotto in a rematch.

same with marg. i picked marg the 1st time around and right after the fight i picked cotto in the rematch.

you have to look at things such as what adjustments one can make.

i think mosley will take floyd's punches better than cotto will take floyd's.

that means mosley will be able to pressure floyd (you have to pressure floyd. i know no one has been successful to date but it is still what you have to do) better than cotto can. reason being is floyd's counters will back off cotto and make cotto more wary than mosley who has a mean chin.

it's about skills , styles and matchups. just because cotto beat mosley doesn't mean cotto has a better chance against floyd than mosley.

I would wait to see how Pac does against a legit elite WW like Cotto before saying that Pac vs Mayweather is 50/50.

I'd say that whoever wins the Cotto/Pacquiao would be 50/50 against Mayweather.
If Cotto still got it then he has a 50/50 chance to win vs PBF.
If Pac is a beast at WW and demolishes Cotto then he has a 50/50 chance vs PBF.

Mosley will beat any WW today that comes straight at him looking to fight. Anyone that can move, fight more than one way and give him angles will give him trouble.

to that i say what many people have said. margo did not prepare well for that fight he was trusting too much in his manopla.
I am sure that if margo had trained like he trained for the cotto bout he would have gone the distance. don't know if he woudl have won tho..

Oh and the only good thing Pac has going for him now is that he has added that right hook because that is a punch that can hit Mayweather. It's the one punch that is very difficult to block well using the shoulder roll. If they can get that going like mad... right hook, straight left, right hook, left to the body, right hook again, they will land it enough to possibly do something. Jab, jab, hook off the jab etc etc.

Depending on how Pac looks against Cotto he really could be the only guy that will give him any trouble, and that's only due to his being a southpaw and quick. That will give him more trouble than anything else. When he moves back into the shoulder roll position, you can still land a left cross and straight left as well as the right hook over the top. Because you can hook it from the southpaw angle you can hit his head and get it over his shoulder into his face/jaw.

Roach should know this and make good use of it. Let's just hope MAyweather actually wants to make this fight.
