every fight has to be looked at differently when guessing what will happen.

i picked cotto over mosley last time they fought however now i pick mosley over cotto in a rematch.

same with marg. i picked marg the 1st time around and right after the fight i picked cotto in the rematch.

you have to look at things such as what adjustments one can make.

i think mosley will take floyd's punches better than cotto will take floyd's.

that means mosley will be able to pressure floyd (you have to pressure floyd. i know no one has been successful to date but it is still what you have to do) better than cotto can. reason being is floyd's counters will back off cotto and make cotto more wary than mosley who has a mean chin.

it's about skills , styles and matchups. just because cotto beat mosley doesn't mean cotto has a better chance against floyd than mosley.
good reasoning.. but if the fight gets made I would have to go with floyd.

i'd favor floyd slightly over pac and mosley right now.

      but they'd be live dogs.

that's all i want. for him to fight guys that might have a chance.

i don't like his style. i like heavy handed fighters.

but if he fights guys that are threats then i don't care how he fights as long as he fights who i want to see him fight.

^^^^^floyd would have such a huge folowing if he would just do that. he obvioulsy has a following now but most are just fanatical about him. I like him as a light weight very much not so much now.

i liked him at 130-135 too.

i think that close fight with jlc made him wary.

i agree with the ts. thats why mayweather wasn't still on my lb4lb list. i need to see him fight at least a top welterweight for me to consider him in the lb4lb list. marquez fight doesn't do anything from him because of all the advantages he had

Lets all wait and see what happens next. I'm hoping for Mayweather vs Shane, atleast on Free HBO.

Another thing I wanted to say, as Mangler Jr braught up. It may be dangrous for Marquez to go back down to 135 after building all that muscle. I think Marquez should go down to 140. I believe he can take over that division. Don't think Marquez is ruined as a fighter. Also wanted to say, I still view Mayweather vs Pacquiao as a 50/50 fight. Mayweather's domination over Marquez didn't change anyhing for me.

Lets stop with the Mayweather/ Marquez stuff. We got Cotto vs Pacquiao, Shane vs Berto/ Clottey or possibly Mayweather, Vitali Klitschko vs Chris Arreola, Haye vs Valuev, Chad Dawson vs Johnson...alot more to talk about then Mayweather's win over Marquez.

Why even care what these clowns think. They whole life revolves around bashing Mayweather, without Mayweather they`ll be sleeping 24/7.

And don`t let these clowns influence you,Marquez is a good fighter and Mayweather won mainly because of superior skills and speed and it would be the same outcome in every wait.

marquez had no damn speed and movement at 135 despite his impressive wins. i would hate to see him get hurt by much faster stronger fighters at 140. floyd completely ruined marquez career Imo with this whole weight fiasco and thats just sad because marquez is an ATG and one of the most respected fighters in history. at the very least this was a great payday for a great mexican warrior but i think he's done as an elite fighter!

Nobody really questions his skills or talents,

its his choice of opponents that causes the most flak.
