The Emirates bags another big fight.

Looks like they're becoming the new Vegas for big fights, as America doesn't have that much money anymore to pay such big amounts, or am I wrong?

But watching on tv, be that internet tv or wherever, the atmosphere doesn't seem great in those countries for these sport events.

Absolutely questioning how anyone think Zurdo has the slightest chance ... But that's just me ...

Not saying Zurdo wins the fight, but he does seem to have some advantages compared to most of Bivol's opposition.

-He is the second southpaw he has ever faced in professional fight. (Bivol has a deep amateur background however)

-He has a reach advantage over most of his opponents as uses it well attacking at any angle.

-He doesn't have flashy or impressive hand speed but has good timing if you watch any of his fights.

-He can rehydrate up to 30 pounds, and there is no weight clause.

-He has knocked every opponent ever since he has moved up to light heavyweight.

-He has not faced any Great Opposition like Bivol, but he has faced good opponents with decent records.
(Alexis Angulo, Jesse Hart X2, Maxim Vlasov etc.)

If Bivol wins he should get credit for beating an opponent in his prime, larger than himself and skilled enough to be at the top compared to anyone Canelo has faced at light heavyweight.

I do think Beterviev would have a much easier time beating Zurdo though, but a fight between Bivol and Beterviev is 50/50 pretty even fight.

people say heavy boxing can be a mismatch with weights but at 175 that sounds extreme, how does he do it

I am still surprised he managed to fight at super middleweight without issues.
