Surprised there has been next to no footage from golovkin training for this fight. Canelo had his media workout days ago there hasn't been a sniff of golovkins.

Canelo fights how he fights. In spurts. He hasn’t got the stamina to do 3 minutes a round and never has, he was blowing out of his arse v Bivol.

GGG still has good work rate at 39/40. He was getting stronger and upping the pace v Murata as the fight went on. I know it’s Murata but still impressive a 40 year old could still shift gears with a good punch output.

GGG should just do that, like he did in the first fight. It’s still an uphill battle being 40, so it might not work anyway. But I think he has/had better natural stamina than Canelo. Although he doesn’t fight like Bivol, he can try to make Canelo work at a pace he can’t handle but with pressure. Maybe it’ll also tire out GGG to at 40, but it would also definitely tire out Canelo, then it could be interesting.

Ultimately though GGG is too faded at this point. I think the extra 8lbs should benefit him at 40 though.

I think a lot of people on here are going to be surprised when GGG outworks Canelo a 3rd time.

i think a good effort from ggg & an 8 to 4 type of fight in nelos favour is most likely, ggg haters will have it 11 to 1 tho

Golovkin was hesitant to go to the body in the 1st fight because he was getting countered by hurtful shots. That was when he was 35. Now 5 years later and at a higher weight, GGG isn't going to be any sharper and Canelo's punches are not going to hurt any less.
Golovkin, pains me to say it, is getting worn down to a late stoppage maybe even by his own corner.
