That depends on how strong the UFC card is that night. Pac has a good following amongst casual boxing "fans" who don't really know much about the sport but think Manny is the best because of the HBO hype machine and his wins over a drained, shade of his former self Oscar and a Hatton who Floyd softened up for him so i wouldnt be suprised. However i guaruntee you the PPV buys will be substantially less despite Cotto having a bigger American fanbase then Marquez.

Further proof that Floyd is the biggest thing in boxing and is single handedly gonna reclaim the PPV throne for boxing from the UFC now that he's made his triumphant return. Score one for the good team.
or people didn't see the match and were checking for results.

Next thing you're going to tell us is that the cowboys are popular because everyone looked up the NY/Dallas game tomorrow.

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't. Remind me to say i told you so when the PPV figures come in, and for the love of god why do you have animations of men rolling on top of eachother in your sig. I think you'd fit in better at the interior design forums.

Thats why this whole "UFC vs Mayweather" thing is ******ed. Not that big of a deal if Floyd Mayweather with 4 episodes of 24/7 promoting him beats a Rich Franklin UFC PPV. Especially when the UFC did 1.6 million buys on their July ppv and 850,000 buys for the August 8 Philly card. 850,000 is what Pac and Hatton did....Mayweather is getting no where near that....

Before all getting excited about this; bear in mind this is one of the single worst UFC cards they've put on in the last several years.
