Neither do Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey, Berto, or Quintana ; but they all come in fight night at, over, or close to 160lbs.

Most of the Welterweights come in fight night at about 160 after they hydrate.

Same with how Manny weighed in at 144lbs in the Barrera rematch at a contracted weight of 130lbs.

No boxer on fight night is actually the size of their division.

When he fought Oscar at junior middleweight, you could tell he looked a little too built because he wasn't as fast as he was at welterweight. He looked to be in peak form last night.
floyd last night looked bigger than floyd against oscar imo.

You thought they were talking about him being 152, four pounds more than Marquez's unofficial weight. Mayweather didn't allow them to weigh him but Marquez did allow them. He was much more than only four pounds bigger than Marquez. That was just the BS they spun. That was so untrue and it came from Mayweather's camp.
          Quoted for truth.

So mayhaters are about to argue that Floyd came in at a career high vs Marquez??!! So he's heavier for a welterweight fight than he was for a junior middle contest??!! WOW the logic of these boards.

It could be somewhat of an optical illusion because JMM is alot smaller then Oscar. Floyd did look bigger though.

Mayweather is naturally smaller than all of them though, don't forget he started his career near featherweight so he has a small frame. He has that type of body that won't carry weight well if he was to keep moving up in weight. Against Oscar, he looked a lot slower than he did in any of his welterweight fights and his legs looked more flat. I can see him weighing in the mid 150's, but anything in the 160's is pushing it IMO. He would have been noticeably bigger and i couldn't see any difference. Plus he would have lost speed.

How is he natrually smaller than all of them? Margarito and Cintron I get ; those guys are huge Welters.

But he's no smaller than a guys like Berto, Collazo, Clottey, or Cotto ; their body states are all roughly the same.

Just because he started at a smaller weight than the one he's fighting at doesn't mean that now (in his 30's, with his body completely matured) he's smaller than them.

Mosley also used to be a "little guy".

This one guy named "Pacquiao" as well.

he looked huge in that fight.

                    He was probably 161.
