What i don't like about DAZN is their commentors and interviewers and all the fill in trash and the announcer with the hair mop.
DAZN are becoming Triller.

To be fair it seemed like it was destined to fail. They hired an English man to reach the American market with no known american fighters instead of GB or TR. And strictly boxing!? Your gonna need a deep and active line of fighters.Comment

I just cancelled. They raised prices and have to pay ppv for the good stuff. They will throw all the crap against the wall to see what sticks to keep or bring new customers.Comment

DAZN is a good concept but always going to struggle in USA and UK if they can’t secure rights for major sports.
You mean you’re desperate to defend DAZN putting on BS like this cause you love Hearn who this thread has nothing to do with.
If you actually look at my post history, I’ve always said I like the DAZN concept, it was just never going to realistically work with boxing as the focal point.
I don’t wanna see YouTubers, washed up MMA fighters, club fighters like Rahman Jr etc headlining cards, if DAZN want to be taken seriously they should stop showing this crap, but as suggested it’s a desperate attempt to increase subscriptions.
it’s funny too, even just a few months ago I was saying that once they introduce a pay-per-view model, they will continuously lower the bar of what constitutes as a pay-per-view fight, even though they said it will only be for mega fights. The Hearniacs were saying that won’t be the case. Well I’m sure they’re changing their tune now they are even putting YouTube fight on pay-per-view.
of course it was always going to happen. Once you have the platform, then anybody with a bit of a name can hold you over a barrel and say they want to be on pay-per-view otherwise they’re just going to another network. DAZN are going to have little choice if they want to keep fighters.
Without major sports to prop them up in certain places, they are just going more and more into Triller or Fite TV territoryLast edited by deathofaclown; 08-29-2022, 12:10 PM.Comment
