As a guy from the Chicagoland area, I can tell you that Chicago just doesn't have the gyms & the culture to produce great fighters in mass.

It's a basketball town through and through.

All the kids think they're going to go to Simeon & wear #25 on their way to the league.

I guarantee you though, some of those ****ers on the O-Block would make good fighters if there was just an infrastructure there.

Dude, Haney is a young fighter, who was considered an "e-mail champion"

Terence Crawford has been the P4P king on many lists and is a 3 division champion, who completely unified a division.

Bud is more accomplished than Spence in every way, accept not having Al Haymon feed him popular Hispanic fighters like Spence does.

There is no comparison for the more accomplished guy being asked to take wayyy less money than a guy who just has better promotion.

Crawford's own promoter said he was losing money on him. The guy is simply not a draw.

Spence has gotten great TV ratings and his PPVs have sold decently, instead of being complete flops like Bud's. The purse split need not be 80-20 or something outrageous like that, but Crawford needs to accept that he is the B-side and be reasonable with his demands.

Spence is the A-side because his ticket sales and PPV numbers are better than Terence Crawford's.

Crawford can't price himself out of this fight, especially after Haney took the short money to get a shot at Kambosos for all the marbles. There will be no sympathy for Bud if his greed kills this bout.
