If Cotto was able to outbox him, what the hell is Mayweather going to do to him since Cotto has about a quarter of the boxing skills as FMJ. SSM is good if you stand in front of him. Make him reset his feet and he is very ordinary. Not a good thinker in the ring either.

1 + 1 doesn't equal 2 in boxing. Mosely is a legitimate welterweight, is bigger than Floyd, and has speed, power, and heart in abundance. Mayweather has never fought anybody like Mosely.

Mayweather needs to beat Mosely to define his legacy. De La Hoya, Hatton, and Pacquaio are not enough. Beating Mosely answers every question Mayweather needs to answer.

But what most of you don't understand is that money trumps all of that for him. That's the name he goes by. The words being thrown around after the fight were "mega fight". He is looking for the next mega-fight. If Pac beats Cotto then I would think it would be Pac. If Cotto wins the I think it would be Mosely. Cotto does not have the name or the draw. Especially on the left coast. Possible at the Garden but not in Vegas. He's not afraid of any of them.

It's easy to look back in hind-sight and say what you think about an opponent like Diego Corrales was, but at the time he was a nightmare opponent. He was tall and was knocking dudes out. You can fight Shane for the pure fans and haters for a decent dollar or you can fight Pac for probably tens of millions more once you count the contract and PPV. What would you do?
