He's not going to fight Tank. He was trying to say that Tank is ducking him when he was legally bound to fight Kambosos. It's crazy. And his fans believe his BS. Everyone is ducking Haney. But then when he gets someone who wants to fight him (Loma), he says he needs his dads permission. If there was ever a hint that someone is going to duck, it would be that.
Haney has NO INTENTION of EVER fight Loma, Tank or Shakur. It will never happen.Comment

I can't discuss this topic extensively without attacking Loma, a little. So, I'll pass. I'm sure you'll remember when I told you Loma needs a tuneup or two, before this was even a thing. And I didn't mean Haney for the tuneups, but for the real Champ at 135: Gervonta Davis. This is not a critique of Loma.
I like Haney as a person but not his fighting style. The ferocity and the special effects of Floyd are lacking in Haney. He needs to take more chances. Urgency. Haney-Loma has the potential to be one of the biggest snoozefests ever. It'll be a competitive long distance fight. I don't really care for it much. Neither for who wins.
Screw the crooked belts too. Garbage.
Anyway, I think you can definitely understand because Devin has been saying Tank is ducking him. Can you believe that ****? He's bound to fight Kambosos, legally. He can't fight anyone else right now. But he's still talking a load of ****, and people are still sucking it up like the turd eaters they are. It's crazy.
I personally don't like Haney as a person because of how much **** he talks. He lies. Blatantly. I can't think of too many boxers who lie as much as Haney, except maybe Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.Comment

He'll claim that he can't make weight. The contract is contingent on Haney fight at lightweight. If he fights at lightweight, then he has to fight Loma next. But if he leaves lightweight for the 140 division, then he can possibly get out of the fight. That's what the issue is all about. In that contract, had Haney fought someone else other than Kambosos, then he would have had to pay a huge fee for damages.
Of course I have not seen the contract, but that is what has been reported.Comment

Why would he?
I'm no fan of Haney but the easiest fight to make after Kambosos 2 would be Lomachenko.
Bob Arum apparently already has motions in place to set up their fight.

A week ago he was saying he wants Loma, going around everywhere, to all the media channels, even ESPN, and saying he's all about fighting Loma next. Then at the press conference he says "I don't know ... I'm going to let my daddy decide whether I can get in the ring with Loma."
I'm not ****ting you man. He said that, and that sounds like he's about to duck.Comment

Lmfao. Loma has already avoided Haney. He’s the one we need to worry about ducking.
It would only be right for Haney to return the favor and instead fight Tank or Ryan for more money. My god would the TS and the other Loma pole smokers would be incensed. Lmfao.
I fully expect Loma to finally be willing to fight Haney now that he has no payday other than this.
If Haney wins that, I can already see the excuses:
Hurt shoulder again during war
He’s old and shot
PTSD
Russians kidnapped his family
Russians poisoned him
