Maybe some day he will. But he got the chance to fight for regaining his title back. Which would you choose? Kinda a no brainer. And now he has a mandatory to tackle, so he's not free even if he wanted to fight Lara. And the point is, he did want to fight Lara. That's why the rematch happened, nobody forced him to take it. The bottom line is, if he wants to settle the score, he'll do it because he wants to. Not because others want it or think he should. He's more than earned that right.

Hisashi Amagasa - Amagasa cut above the right eye in an 11th round head clash.

Lee Selby - Selby cut above the left eye in a 2nd round head clash and over the right eye in the 6th.

Mauricio Lara - Lara cut over the left eye in the 2nd by an accidental head clash, contest stopped on advice of ringside doctor.

Kiko Martinez - Martinez, cut over both eyes and on the forehead (Didn't state it was a head clash but anyone with eyes knows otherwise)

I mean it doesn't get any clearer than that it really doesn't. At least his KO percentage is higher than his headbutt percentage lmao. Btw every single one of those fighters is orthodox.

Some ballsy matchups. I like it. I've grown to like Maxi Hughes since his matchup against Jono Carroll. He's been on a rather nice run as of late. Galahad is a tough matchup for him but I will be pulling for Hughes to get the win.

As for Wood/Lara, something tells me that will be a very violent fight that ends in stoppage. I wouldn't be surprised if both men hit the canvas. I favor Lara in this one.
