    Size of course.

W/out the size disadvantage, JMM would've retained his speed, activity and confidence.

Hard to beat a guy thats 30 pounds above your weight class naturally.

Gptta be skills. WHEN did Floyd actually use his size to win? When he was dodging all of JMM's punches or when he was countering him with the right?

weight played huge roll becuase it gave him more power his size speed and power made marquez impossible to brawl with because marquez is too small.. kirkland if he wasnt locked up would give floyd hell tho

          Both.

Regardless of the size difference ; Floyd still schools Marquez at ANY weight.

This coming from a huge "Dinamita" fan.

But you're lying to yourself if you think the weight didn't play any role in how sluggish Marquez looked.

At a more comfortable weight he'd still lose, but he'd at least have moments in the fight and maybe win 2 rounds.

that's beside the point. Marquez was not the same fighter than he was at 130 not that it would have mattered but he clearly was out of his comfort zone.

you cant single out one factor. Obviously Floyd showed his skills and Marquez showed his heart but we dont know how much Floyd weighed on fight night and it did seem to mentally take an effect of the Marquez camp that Floyd didnt make the agreed upon weight which I believe he did as a tactic to rattle the cage of Marquez. So I think both were a factor maybe Floyd did not physically use his weight although he leaned on JMM a few times but it did affect JMM mentally I think.

I think its fair to say that since he refused to let them weigh him, it was an embarrassing number. From the way he looked in the ring, I would be shocked if the number was below 156.

It was probably a mixture of both, if they were the same size and Marquez had experience at fighting at welterweight before fighting floyd the fight would have been more evenly matched.
