This is some solid trolling by Golovkin. Noone will ever beat the guy who rapped against Canelo though.

GGG is something else. The last beating Canelo gave him took him a year to recover from physically. He’s willingly to put himself through that again for money. He’s getting his ass beat for 12 rounds again and it’s taking years off his life. Canelo is still somewhat young for the ring and is a big man in a little mans body and can handle the punches right now. He just needs to take it down a notch since he’s not 25 anymore and he’ll destroy these guys. I do need to see Canelo beat Jermall’s ass before it’s all over.Verus likes this.

As far as the hate Canelo gets in Mexico, much of it is a byproduct of the social media age where every hater and uninformed casual can spew their narratives online. The funny thing is they can't even stay on the same page, like some calling his opponents bums (even Bivol) because they don't follow boxing and don't know the champs, then others say the opposite and claim his wins are so impressive his opponents must have thrown the fight.
As far as GGG being this super humble guy, again that's just projection. GGG straight up said he'd "seize" on the opportunity to legally kill someone in the ring which is low even for boxing. Kazakh fighter Bobirzhan Mominov who shares the same amateur coach as GGG and spent time in both the GGG and Canelo camps talked about his complete opposite experiences with GGG having a reputation of being cold with his fellow countrymen boxers and wouldn't give him the time of day when he asked for advice and even ignored their mutual coach when he visited him. He said Canelo was the opposite being the first to greet everyone in camp and even personally gave him money to help him get out of his contract when he heard he was having promoter problems.
GGG runs around like his **** doesn't stink bragging about his legacy when he never put in the same work or took the same risks as Canelo.

Canelo can smile knowing he beat GGG at his own game with GGG refusing to claim Mexican style ever again. Afterward GGG even tried to throw his trainer under the bus and made himself look bad in the process saying he never really knew about Mexican style because Abel is from California lol. In other words, it was just marketing, the only thing he wanted from Mexican fans was their money. At least Canelo had the self respect of always representing his country unlike GGG who let his trainer pimp him out as a different nationality for the money.
