The only reason that the media is creating this false narrative around what Joshua said at the end of the fight is because Anthony Joshua is a huge star in boxing. The same way Kanye West is a huge star in music and fashion. There nothing that “bizarre” or “cringe” about what he said. He gave the other fighter major props and congratulated him for his victory and expressed his frustration with his loss. Everyone complained that he was too gracious in defeat last time and when he shows some frustration in defeat its bizarre. Which one is it? And the idea that he can’t beat Tyson Fury is just completely bogus. What has Tyson Fury done in the sport to prove that he is this unbeatable fighter? What has Tyson Fury done and who has he beaten or even fought that shows that Anthony Joshua or Oleksander Usyk could not beat him. Deontay Wilder is no where near as good as Usyk? Usyk has an extensive amateur background and is a top pound for pound professional. Tyson Fury is top self promoter that retires twice a year as a marketing technique. He beat Deontay Wilder. That doesn’t prove a lot to me.

I admire Usyk's class in and out of the ring but some perspective will be clearly seen soon when Tyson Fury beats Usyk in a shut out or stoppage. People should applaud Joshua who never stopped trying even though he was dealing with a foe he had very few answers too.

Why not Fury? Fury hasn’t shown anything that indicates either Joshua or Usyk couldn’t beat him. He talks a good game but he’s barely ever willing to take a fight. Y’all believe his self promoting gypsy talk tactics. He still has more to prove than fighting Deontay Wilder three times in a row can prove for me. He’s a good fighter but he’s a also a conman that retires twice a year. Let’s see him fight more than talk and maybe my perception of him will change.

AJ is an entitled, coddled bully with little heart and a big mental problem. If he wasn't Eddie Hearns' mealticket we wouldn't hear of him again, and he'd be fighting on undercards
in Winnipeg. His antics in the post fight ring were obnoxious but understandable as he was shocked to understand, despite his entourage calling him a god, that someone smaller and physicallly weaker defeated him with his HEART as well as his gloves.

So you're basically saying you want to see him get killed? After his pathetic post-fight display.........yeah Wilder sounds good. Hearn and Co. Will NEVER allow that tho.

And let us not forget the problems someone like Otto Wallin has given him in the past. And for all the talk of AJ's mental health issues, they pale in comparison to what Fury had shown in the past. The fact of that matter is this; Fury only decisively beat Wilder in the second fight, because he had a massive weight advantage, and Wilder bulked up too much.

In fights both 1 and 3, Fury looked VERY susceptible at times, and in both fights, he was seconds away from being stopped. Other than the second fight, he hardly looked dominant.

And for those saying there's no way Usyk couldn't beat Fury; Do you even remember when Steve Cunningham dropped him like a bad habit? Usyk is more than capable of beating Fury. I'd favor Fury, but only at about a 60/40 margin at this point. He certainly isn't going to walk through Usyk the way he did Wilder in their second fight.

Not killed, I would not wish that for anyone who's not a criminal killer or worse. But knocked out for good, Breazeale style.

The post fight was a sign of huge egoism and egothism like his whole career, but also a display of true ignorance and carelessness.

He did better the second time, he made major improvements, but still lost.

                  So what?

It doesn't mean AJ is no good. He just met someone who is incredibly talented and who had his number.

All this piling onto the guy is so unattractive, so online trolling pathetic. A bunch of loser keyboard warriors piling onto a guy that worked his ass off.

AJ is still a top heavyweight. He's just not as good as Usyk.

Guess what - a lot of basketball players are world class but not as good as M Jordan. Doesn't mean they are ****. In fact they can be incredibly good. It's just that Jordan is better. Generational talents are like that. The freakish talent of a Mayweather or a Pacman doesn't make everyone else rubbish.

                  Grow up.
Hopefully this sets the stage for Joshua against Wilder. I know that die-hard Joshua fans are also die-hard critics of Wilder and vice versa, so a fight between the two settles a lot of questions for both. It would also be the biggest payday available for either.

Not to get off topic, but Ray Mancini, Barry McGuigan are in there, so....

But AJ is still pretty fresh, and would have beaten alot of heavyweights this weekend.

There are lots of good fights out there.

Seriously, what about Derek? That would be huge in the UK.
Yes, I'd like to see a Joshua/Wilder fight too. You made the comment that "TBH, if he were to beat, say, Wilder, regain a title and make a few defenses, he will have a legit shot at the HOF", if Wilder were to win that fight would you say the same about Wilder?

In both fights AJ’s size was his biggest disadvantage. Those muscles aren’t going to help you in a 12 round fight, unless you’re fighting another muscle bound behemoth as would often be the case, where they both tire in the later rounds. Usyk’s ability to go up a gear while AJ downshifted was the biggest difference in the second fight.
Hal of fame trainer Gil Clancy said that Big Muscles require a lot of oxygen to use and that is why boxers don't need oversized muscles.
