    The issue in the Marquez fight wasn't the idea of a tune-up after a return. The issue was the fact that people wanted to see Mayweather fight Welterweights. Berto would have been the PERFECT return fight for PBF. Besides the fact that he isn't as known as JMM (probably why it didn't happen).
    You make a very apt point bro, if only some of us were that sensible. Next year will be telling. Floyd will have to fight one of these guys Berto/Pac/Shane/Cotto and more than likely 2. We will see what they say after.

          it wouldn't have made as much money though and with floyd's money problems i can see why money is a top priority.

          take the fight for what it is. floyd beat a much smaller great fighter.

          let's hope his next opponent is someone much closer to his size.
