LMAO year right they would have ROASTED him for fighting an untested rookie in Berto. He wouldn't win no matter who he had fought.

The only way Mayweather gets any respect is if he fights the Klit brothers...

It takes two to make a fight, Now apart from Al Haymon who represent both fighters i doubt Lou Di bella would put his only cash cow(Berto) in there to be destroyed by PBF.

NO, Berto sucks, nobody cares about him. He's not better than Collazo.

You kidding? Against Berto there would be nobody in the world who could give him too much ****.

The issue in the Marquez fight wasn't the idea of a tune-up after a return. The issue was the fact that people wanted to see Mayweather fight Welterweights. Berto would have been the PERFECT return fight for PBF. Besides the fact that he isn't as known as JMM (probably why it didn't happen).

Beat me to it. Berto is being groomed to be a future star. No way they are throwing him with Floyd or any slick fighter anytime soon. I thought Collazo edged him.

Actually i think Collazo would have been better, again low risk but credible since he had such a close fight against berto that many thought he won and he's a long time genuine top ten WELTERWEIGHT.
