    It says more about their opponents than them to be honest....

      I think Canelo is levels above Joshua to be honest but I do agree that Canelo is an overachiever

        Must irritate Josh that he came across a boxer that really knows the sweet science. Josh often talks about being interested in it, the sweet science -giving impression he feels he himself also has a high IQ.

            I respect AJ. he lost, took the rematch, gave it whatever he had. It wasn't enough but the fact that he left that terrible British trainer McKrackhead gives ne hope. AJ is still willing to learn and I believe he'll work even harder. He isn't done. He has more to give. And he'll improve further if he gets rid of the other trainer he has now and just sticks with Grandpa. He don't need a bunch of voices in his corner. He's not Bud

              [QUOTE=1hourRun;n31537158]

              “I replayed Usyk-Joshua II this morning, I drank an espresso with a 17th century solo masterpiece by Giuseppe Tartini, the 'Devil's Trill Sonata' (in G minor) playing in the background to complement Oleksander's masterful performance. Suddenly, in the middle of Joshua's egocentric speech I came out of a trance and realized that I had been moved to tears, by The salt-water and snot running down my face ( hello Gypsy-Bum fans ).

              Oh, seeing Usyk raise the Ring-Magazine title and crowned the lineal HW champion of the world during the Russian siege of Ukraine was a privilege to witness, truly legendary.

              Oleksandr Usyk is like the new Andre Ward, kicking English and Russian bums and remaining undefeated. Like A.J said when he held the Mic hostage, hip-hip...HURRAY!”

              Lmao.

              If you’ve got any other classical pieces like this, upload or suggest the mofo.

              My attention span can just about manage 16 mins worth of sonata

                Yeah, also glad you added this context here. News websites were uploading half of AJ’s quote and making out he was calling Usyk a ****head, when tbf to him, he was saying he got outclassed

                  Right on. Aj did alright, but he’s not terribly smart as others have alluded to.

                  Best thing he can do is bin that Fernandez, STFU, listen to Garcia solely, and do EVERYTHING he asks him to do without argument, even if he tells him to “wax on” and “off” repeatedly

                    Canelo’s a more intelligent boxer, but everyone can (or should be able to) see even his skill set’s short of the absolute elite level

                      Yahoo sports, failed to include ''cause of skills'' in their quote. As you mentioned PJ, that little yet significant error could be misunderstood. Anthony Joshua had an embarrassing moment in his outburst, which apparently cloaked his good intentions.

                      Anthony Joshua did a lot better than I expected, I was actually impressed with how he was reading Usyk and anticipating Oleksandr's next move, the body assault was worrisome as a fan of Usyk. But, I think A.J gets it by his assessment in his speech; he's too big and not built for a fast pace chess match.

                      Joshua will come back, I do believe he can beat Tyson Fury.
