No he's not a "nice enough fella". On the occasional time he's been left to speak for himself unscripted, the real.person emerges.
He is tentative because he has no confidence in his abilities or capacity to take a punch and his reactions when he's hit confirm this.
Him being able to (possibly) beat all the other heavies is more a reflection of how poor they are - hrgovic performance prime example - rather than how good Joshua is.
Nice enough, not perfect.
It's the worst HW era of all time.
