    ProBox: Camacho Jr vs Diaz

Looks like it starts tonight at 9pm EST. Juan Carlos Camacho Jr (13-1, 7 KO) and Fernando Diaz (11-1-1, 3 KO) square off (10 rounds, junior bantamweight) in Puerto Rico.

On the undercard we have Jose Martinez-Mercado (21-1-3, 14 KO) verus Carlos Buitrago (35-7-1, 20 KO) in an 8 round junior featherweight bout and Pedro Marquez (13-1, 9 KO) faces Wilner Soto (22-10, 12 KO) in another 8 rounder (featherweight).

Should be a decent card and I think it's the first in a series which will be put on by Miguel Cotto for ProBox. I wonder if the crew (Tarver, Goldberg, Paulie and Roy) will be on scene or will be calling it from Florida.

1-0 Rivera. Jan Paul is the prospect and he threw a lot of leather but some of it was wide and he left himself open for the counters by a very game Sosa. Rivera was caught clean a few times but still won the round.

2-0 Rivera. Outlanding Sosa and hurting him but pressing for the KO too much.

3-0 Rivera. While one-sided, Sosa is very game and landing his fair share against an overly aggressive Rivera.

Rivera has some good tools to work with , hopefully he looks back at this fight and realizes he be better off letting the KO come to him . Pressing to much for it

4-0 Rivera. Nice little scrap where Rivera clearly won every round but had to work and got busted up in the process.

I'm sure nerves came into play, he brawled too much when he should have used his jab dictated distance. Rivera doesn't appear to have that one-hitter quitter type power but it's good that he realizes that now.

Next up is Pedro Marquez (13-1, 9 KOs) versus Wilner Soto (22-10, 12 KOs). Soto has lost 7 of his last 9 (4 by stoppage).

Tonight so far, it's just been Paulie and Goldberg calling the fight.
