He's a star and I guess he'll be bigger if he wins but Eddie is bluff. Maybe in the UK but not the world.

I doubt that seriously when the hell did AJ become big in Asia and most of Europe aside from the UK? I understand Nigeria but to include all of Africa is a reach as well.

They sure do know him in the UK though considering he's beat up every fighter he's faced from there, everyone knows Canelo in the UK.

In America yes, Globally? I think Alvarez has competition, and its not only from Joshua.

If Tyson Fury's intention was to defend his belts and take on all comers. I think he could surpass Alvarez in America.

Fury's fights with Wilder, are already bigger events and fights than anything Alvarez post Floyd Mayweather has been involved in.

Golovkin vs Alvarez III, is not on the same level as Fury vs Wilder III.

If Joshua goes back to America rematches Ruiz Junior, that is a Mega fight.

If Joshua fights Fury back in the UK, that is a Mega level fight.

If Joshua fights Wilder, there's another Mega fight.

Then you have the scope of range which Joshua has 'Joshua has global reach, he has proven this' He is proving it on the weekend again.

So as you can see, Alvarez has competition. Fury & Joshua have too many mega level fights that they can make, plus they have a greater range where fights can take place.

If you keep losing your title and winning it back, does not make you the biggest star in boxing. Lol

Bingo. There is a strange “machismo” that goes with how popular Mexican fighters are with Mexican americans. I’m old enough to vividly remember how even DLH was booed and ballyhooed by Mexican American fans when we fight Chavez twice. Basically the only people pulling for him where white and black American fans and Mexican females.

Ruiz jr trilogy is a mega fight? Whaaaat? Lmao. It is NOT. Maybe if he sparks ortiz and AJ wins usyk it could be a big HW fight but as it stands that fight isn’t relevant. You then dropped him in the same class as Tyson fury which he is not. Tyson fury yes is the top of not one of the top 2 biggest stars in the sport with canelo regardless of the outcome of this fight. As much as people want to believe AJ isn’t that guy lol
