Case in point. Floyd is not the top welterweight in the world. Hence he cannot be p4p no.1.

    That is all.

He isn't p4p number 1 because he doesn't ever fight the top ww's in his own divison. Maybe floyd fans consider zab a top welter or baldy. Floyd never fought Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Williams(when he was at 147), or Mosley.

if Bernard Hopkins beat Pacquiao, would it be a great win and would it make him P4P number one?

Yes he is. He would be the Las Vegas favorite against any welterweight in the world. Ergo, he is considered the best. Ergo he's P4P #1

          Now go play in traffic.

Wouldas, shouldas and couldas count for nought. Floyd hasn't fought and won those fights anywhere but in his dreams.

Seriously, pfp is being talking too far, because everyone knew Marquez was too small for floyd, the majority of us just wanted Marquez to win!!Myself forefront of that line!!floyd has not fought against any of the top 5,"being generous here",welterweights to date,so there is no way he could be the best welterweight or pfp king,if he's never fought Mosley,Cotto,Clottey,Margarito or even at least Berto,Nelson is right!!

The P4P list is based on skills, at least i think it is?

                  What about punching power?

It's more based on resumees. Otherwise young pup's like Direll and Ward should be on the p4p list today and you would have to place Sven Ottke higher on the ATG list and . That guy was skilled.
