Unification trumps mandatory. Any boxing fan or viewer knows this. So loma ducked a guy to face a more explosive puncher, bigger guy who was coming of a phenomenal KO win over Commey and who was a legit world champ.

some proper melts on here. It’s why I took a step back. Ya all Clueless

Yea I know bro, it's social inequities when we're talking about one group f fighters and it's business as usual when we're talking about another. The fact you don't recognize that is amazing!

I recognise, it just ain’t that deep. Loma ducking Haney ain’t racism.

Ppl overlooking the fact he did on here is just NSB bull****, but I still wanna see that fight, so no, let’s not have Haney squeeze him out. Get those MFs in the ring with each other and let’s see a real fight

Some you guys are ready preparing an excuse by calling Loma old.
It was an obvious duck, but it should be even more obvious it was more to do with the fact that Haney was at DAZN with slippery Eddie Hills, and ol’ man bob likes his in-house fights.

I mean, couldn’t be clearer now the enthusiasm for this fight from all parties is high…. Now that Haney’s with Top Rank!

Can't wait for that fight to happen. Haney should breeze past Kambosos again and Loma takes his tune up then let's get it on.

Loma didn't duck Haney, Arum ducked Hearn. That's what happened there. Arum did not want to deal with Hearn and DAZN financial punch. But now they both with a Top Rank contract its more of a goer.

Although it does appear from the comments that there are a few Haney fans sweating on this already and already hoping and trying to justify Haney ducking him. Haney ain't ducked anybody yet so forget it Haney fans there is a big chance this happens.

Kamboso rematch while legal, is pointless and useless for Haney career wise. Financially it makes sense but this is why boxing is such a mess.
Loma is after the belts so that wouldn't work.

No actually it is that deep but I don't think that you and I are that far off on this. This is prize fighting at the end of the day. When Arum / Loma were in the driver's seat they intentionally kept the "bag" away from Devin, and I think he was mandatory before he joined Dazn. Nobody had a problem with Loma becoming franchise bytch champ and swerve Devin. Now that Devin is in the pole position those same folks are crying foul because Devin has a chance at payback. It really is deep.

When you say ‘nobody’, you mean Loma fans and DAZN/ Hearn haters, because Loma franchised it up when Haney was in association with Hearn.

That’s just how partisanship goes, isn’t it? It’s double standards because the only consistency with partisanship is that your side needs to have every advantage going.

Ofc, it’s obvious hypocrisy. But bro, I still wanna see that fight

Yeah should be obvious now that Haney’s a real dog. He’ll turn up in your backyard and fight in a g-string if he has to. I like that kind of attitude.

This ****’s going down, and we need more boxers with this mindset to stop the rot, though the rot is primarily due to promoters
