Some of those weren't even knockdown.

Let's see if Garcia can get aj to throw dome body shots though.

Beterbiev dropped him to the body, and Beterbiev is ten times the boxer that Joshua is.

amazing how Usyk kept getting dropped to the body in the Ams, yet still managed to win those fights with only 3 rounds…it’s almost as if it doesn’t ****ing matter lmao.

but while you have to comb the internet to find some grainy vids of amateur Usyk getting dropped to the body over a decade ago, it’s not hard to find videos in 4K of Joshua literally quitting against a guy who looks like he manages a car wash

Chino got up from that sick body shot from Khan. No way was he anything close to weak to the body. That fight is over against most guys. Chino got up with sh.it in his diaper but he got up.

I think he certainly had a weakness there. Maybe still does. AJ had him thinking twice a few times with the lead straight right to the body too.

But he hasn't been knocked down by a body shot for 11 years. Not at all as a pro.

Work the body, then move upstairs after is probably the move to make.

          Dude is slippery af though.
could be he's on that famous Russian juice.

Only actual KDs are the 2011 and 2013 fights. That can happen to anyone, especially when they're not experienced. He also got up from the punches (including Artur's), so "weak" is overstretching it. If he crumbled and got counted out, yeah, that's weakness.

The other KDs were not KDs. You can see in Megdidov replay that the punch was blocked and slid down to hit Usyk in the groin. They touch gloves afterwards to show it. Glowacki never touches him with a punch and just keeps moving forward out of balance and falls on top of him.

Didn't know that Usyk has been knocked down several times to the body by far lesser men. Aj and Garcia should focus downstairs for the first few rds.
Well most of those fights were in the amateurs vs BIG punchers and Usyk won them. So to call them far lesser men is not accurate and Usyk a natural heavyweight now. However I think you bring up a good point.

If AJ can get up close and push Usyk back to the ropes he should unload on the body. But if he tries throwing body shots from the outside in the middle of the ring he'll get countered every time.
Yup he needs to get inside. He’s not a good outside fighter. His straight punches are telegraphed and predictable and he struggles landing with any kind of consistency and is easily countered.

When I watch him ‘trying to box’ he looks like he’s a relative newbie and having to think about everything he does.

Usyk is a smart fighter, not a brawler - He knows what punches he cannot take so he avoids them. AJ is not stopping him tomorrow

Joshua had success on body in the first bout. He didn't try enough.
