It seems to be too convenient.
He should have gone on with the fight.
His mental health can't be so serious or he wouldn't have waited.
Sheeeeit. JCC jr is nuttier than an almond farm and he's been more active.Comment

you sound like a ho3!! LOL.. Figueroa ain’t running from nothing howling mental health to the moooooon LOL shut cho bih azz up like Tank said LolI know Omar Figueroa Jr. isn't talking about someone else's mental health when he himself also struggled with it. So I guess he's the only one allowed to use that excuse. As many legal problems AB has had there's no doubt it's messing with him mentally. Also Omar Figueroa Jr has had his run ins with the law too. So Omar you might want to tread lightly on this one.

My guess is Broner had to decide with admitting he was overweight and unprepared or using the mental health card and thought that would result in less public abuse.
I just hope athletes don't keep using the mental health card though. It is petty weird that suddenly people have to feel comfortable upstairs now or they can simply stop. Can yu imagine a soldier in a war zone saying "hey, I have anxiety, can I go?" Yeah no sh you have anxiety and what not.
Either people have got way more emotional in the past thirty years or they are seeing it as an excuse. Or there is some other cause, whether social or chemical, for people suddenly getting depressed in large numbers in Western countries (only Western countries) which never used to happen before.Comment

I don't doubt that Broner has dealt with mental health struggles and is dealing with them now. His previous behavior points to someone dealing with quite a bit of inner turmoil.
I'm not sure mental health is the primary reason for the cancellation of the fight, as he's demonstrated lack of discipline and has weight issues leading up to fights in the past. I hope that he can find some peace in his life and hope that I don't see him in the ring or hear his name again.Comment
